There will always be somebody that, for no rhyme or reason at all, seems to capture your consciousness in an inexplicable way. Being beside them seems the only thing that matters, thoughts occupied incessantly by that one being. And it will often make you feel juvenile, like that obsessive school girl who draws little hearts all over her notebook covers, but you can hardly help it. Try to forget, resent it, whatever you do the hook's already stuck in your bloody lip, and trying to pull it out will only make the wound grow. But the worst is wondering whether or not they'll ever look at you that way again, if it's all curled down the rusted drain or only hidden so the line wont pull tight. Even if it isn't love, it isn't easy.
